About the Opportunity

Tech Mahindra is inviting applications for the position of Legal Specialist. The role is ideal for experienced legal professionals with expertise in technology contracts, commercial agreements, procurement, government tenders, and contract negotiations. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing legal documentation, mitigating contractual risks, and supporting business operations through effective legal advisory services.

8–15 years of full-time relevant legal experience.

Noida, Uttar Pradesh or Pune, Maharashtra

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, vet, and negotiate IT, ITES, technology contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
  • Review and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs), EPC Contracts, Turnkey Contracts, Professional Services Agreements (PSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Procurement Agreements.
  • Handle government tenders, bid proposals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
  • Manage contracts involving OEMs, service providers, subcontractors, software licensing, hardware procurement, cloud services, SaaS, AI solutions, and manpower services.
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders regarding contractual obligations, amendments, renewals, and extensions.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and safeguard the company’s legal and commercial interests.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks, liabilities, and deviations.
  • Provide legal support for commercial transactions and advise business teams on contractual matters.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should possess:

  • An LL.B. degree from a recognized university (LL.M. preferred).
  • 8–15 years of full-time experience in commercial contract drafting and technology law.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • IT and ITES contracts
    • Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
    • EPC and Turnkey Contracts
    • Professional Services Agreements
    • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
    • Procurement Agreements
    • Government tenders, RFIs, RFPs, and EOIs
    • Software licensing, Cloud, SaaS, AI, Hardware, and OEM contracts
  • Excellent contract negotiation, legal drafting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Remuneration

Remuneration shall be as per company standards and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
