About the Job

Kia India is looking for candidates for the role of Legal Counsel.

Role and Responsibilities

Provide legal support to the various internal departments- Work with other in-house counsels and outside counsels, as required.
Negotiate and draft complex transactional agreements.
Taking preemptive measures to avoid legal risks and conflicts.
Litigation – Consumer; IPR; Property; Recovery etc.
External Lawyers – Co-ordination with external counsels.
Case Management.
Management Reporting; Feedback from concerned business teams etc.
Contract Management – Drafting; Reviewing and Negotiating Contracts.
Should be well versed in Customs related laws and DRI related investigation.
Should be well versed in laws and regulations and should be able to tender opinion/advice on day-to-day basis, related to manufacturing and Sales related issues.
