About the Job Opportunity
The legal department plays a vital role in managing legal matters and ensuring that the operations of the co-working space are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. As a member of our Legal Department, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal support, guidance, and expertise to our organization.Your responsibilities will encompass various legal matters, including contract management, compliance, risk assessment, and dispute resolution. By ensuring legal compliance and protecting our organization’s interests, you will contribute to our continued success and growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents such as ATS, Sale deeds, Construction contracts, and ancillary documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
- Manage and track end-to-end transaction documentation until the execution and registration of agreements
- Represent the Company in person before various Statutory authorities
- Verification of property documents given for go down by any party
- Collaborate with internal teams to address legal issues and prevent future legal challenges
- Manage intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright registration and protection, by conducting Legal Due-Diligence
- Dispute resolution during the term of the lease, involving negotiation, mediation, or, in more serious cases, litigation
- Advising on issues such as rent adjustments, property alterations, and compliance with maintenance and repair obligations
- Effectively attend to civil litigation, arbitration matters, criminal complaints, consumer forum complaints, and matters before various law enforcement agencies
- Managing the recovery of outstanding payments and issuing notices to individuals who have defaulted on their payments
- Developing various ESOP management resolutions and implementing the same for the organisation
- Manage and protect the company’s intellectual property assets, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents
- Making standard agreements and SOPs for the reference of stakeholders
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Good communication skills, tactfulness, and negotiation abilities to effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders
- LBB Graduate with minimum 5-8 years’ experience in Real Estate Industry and Non Litigation
- Up-to-date and well versed with drafting with MoU, Joint Development Agreements, Agreement of Sale, Sale Deeds, Power of Attorney, Procurement Agreements, etc., and other deeds in relation to properties
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Excellent drafting skills and legal clauses
- People management skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience as paralegals, legal assistants, or similar support roles
