Role description

Job Title: Legal Associate / Paralegal – US Laws (LPO)

Experience: 2+ Years

Location: Kharadi, Pune (Work from Office)

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal / Legal Associate to support our Legal Process Outsourcing team. The role involves managing case files, drafting legal documents, and providing end-to-end paralegal support to ensure smooth case handling and timely client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain case files with complete documentation in line with internal protocols.
  • Draft petitions, motions, and basic legal documents using templates in case management systems or MS Word.
  • Compile, prepare, and electronically submit appearance packets and exhibits as required.
  • File and track court documents for specific counties when needed.
  • Regularly update case records in the case management system to reflect progress.
  • Monitor cases by reviewing updates on court websites.
  • Communicate case status and developments to clients in a clear, professional, and timely manner.
  • Provide comprehensive paralegal support to clients and attorneys.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (JD equivalent).

Experience: Minimum 2 years of legal experience, preferably with US-based law firms or corporate legal departments.

Strong understanding of US laws and legal procedures.

Hands-on experience with case/document management systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Word and strong attention to detail.
