Centre for Labour Law Research and Advocacy (CLLRA) is established to reinvigorate the constitutional philosophy of ‘decent work for all’ by ensuring dignity at work and enjoyment of equal social, cultural and economic opportunities for workers.

We focus to understand labour policy paradigm from an interdisciplinary pedagogical framework and conversate with social realities to undertake meaningful advocacy and outreach initiatives.

About the Opportunity

The National Law University, Delhi (‘University’) is seeking to engage ONE (1) Full-Time Research Associate and TWO Field Investigators for Bangalore at the Centre for Labour Law Research and Advocacy (CLLRA), under the ICSSR Project titled, “(In)visibility in Law and Policy: Migrant Domestic Workers (live-in) in Delhi and Bangalore” to work for a period of Twelve Months (12).

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Report Writing of the Project
  • Completion of academic deliverables of the ICSSR Project, including completion of publications, Model Contracts etc.
  • Creating repository of trade unions, workers associations, helplines for domestic workers in Delhi and Bangalore
  • Coordinating research and organization of both doctrinal and empirical work related to the Project.
  • Initiating writing works under the Project Submission
  • Any other work that may be necessary to ensure the effective implementation and completion of the project within the proposed timelines.

Eligibility Criteria

A Postgraduate in Law or social sciences (minimum 55% marks) with NET/SLET/M.Phil/Ph.D.

Salary

Rs. 20,000/- (Consolidated) per month.
