About the Job Opportunity
NLU Delhi is inviting applications from retired or soon-to-retire government officials for the post of Consultant (Administration) on a contractual basis. This engagement is intended to support the university’s administrative and operational framework.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all administrative matters concerning officers and staff.
- Handle matters related to FR&SR, Conduct Rules, DPC, MACP, etc.
- Manage budget, procurement, GFRs, and Parliament matters.
- Coordinate court cases, legal, vigilance, and RTI issues.
- Perform any other administrative duty as assigned by the University.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline
- Experience:
- Retired officials from Central/State Govt., Autonomous Bodies, or Universities
- Held positions such as Under Secretary/Assistant Registrar/Section Officer or equivalent
- Experience in administration, accounts, establishment, and building projects
- Working knowledge of FRSR, GFR, etc.
- Preferred: Candidates with university administration experience
- Age Limit: Maximum 64 years as of 01.08.2025
Additional Perks
- Remuneration: ₹60,000/- per month (fixed)
- Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No HRA/CCA, accommodation, or additional allowances
- May be required to work on Sundays/holidays (no extra pay)
