About the Job Opportunity
NCLT invites applications for Joint Registrar, Deputy Registrar, and Assistant Registrar positions on a deputation basis to fill existing and future vacancies at various benches across India. The appointments are initially for a period of three years or until further orders.
Job Responsibilities
Selected officers will handle administrative, establishment, and court-related matters, depending on the role. Responsibilities align with the seniority of the posts:
- Joint Registrar: Oversee personnel and administrative matters.
- Deputy Registrar: Manage court operations and administrative duties.
- Assistant Registrar: Assist in judicial, administrative, and establishment functions.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Joint Registrar
- Officers from Central/State Governments, Courts, Tribunals, etc.
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Law
- Experience in personnel and administrative matters
- Service Requirements:
- Holding analogous post; or
- 5 years in Level-12; or
- 10 years in Level-11
- Age Limit: Max 56 years
Deputy Registrar
- Officers from Central/State Governments, Courts, Tribunals, etc.
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Law
- Experience in administrative or court matters
- Service Requirements:
- Holding analogous post; or
- 5 years in Level-11
- Age Limit: Max 56 years
Assistant Registrar
- Officers from Central/State Governments, Courts, Tribunals, etc.
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Law
- Experience in administrative or court matters
- Service Requirements:
- Analogous post; or
- 5 years in Level 9/10; or
- 6 years in Level-8; or
- 7 years in Level-7
- Age Limit: Max 56 years

- Deputation governed by DoPT OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay II) dated 17.06.2010 and amendments.
