Providing in-house advisory guidance for establishment of best practices within the legal framework of the organization so as to secure & safeguard the interests of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Experience in handling litigations , court proceedings – both criminal and civil matters, consumer disputes, employment, or labour laws, IPR disputes, arbitrations. Cheque bounce litigations, suit for recovery etc.,
- Research into new applicable laws regulations and advice on regulatory requirements, legal risks, and mitigation strategies
- Drafting and vetting court pleadings (including plaints, replies, written statements, rejoinders, affidavits and applications, notices, and replies) as well as consumer matters
- Manage and resolve conflict to avoid dispute escalation
- Participate in and /or lead negotiations with both internal and external customers /stakeholders
- Prepare Litigation Status Report in MS excel, power point etc.
- Identify and consult on legal risks in connection with the development of new business and products
- Handling litigation mandates from inception till final hearing
- Will be actively involved in all litigations including briefing counsels and appearing before the courts
- Timely revert to all notices
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Problem solving & decision making.
- Excellent Negotiation Skills
- Strong stakeholder management
- Planning, Organizing & Execution.
- Comfortable working in high pressure environment
- 2 to 4 years in legal department of a corporate entity
- Exposure to Healthcare/ Pharmaceuticals industry will be preferred
- Experience in contract management, compliance management will be an added advantage.
- Graduate in law (LL.B.)
