Position vacant – Litigation Associate (Direct taxation)

We are seeking a qualified Direct Tax Lawyer and/or Chartered Accountant to join our team as a “Litigation Associate” in a full-time, on-site capacity at our Delhi, India office. The role principally involves document drafting and analysis, legal research and assisting senior team members in tax litigation, with opportunity to represent matters and develop advocacy skills before appellate authorities.

Qualifications and skills

• CA and/or LL.B
• 2-7 years PQE in (direct) tax laws (mandatory)
• Proficiency in Income Tax laws, related compliances and strong understanding of legal principles
• Excellent English language document drafting and legal research skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines
• Experience with direct tax litigation and representation is an advantage
