MakeMyTrip is seeking a Legal Associate with 2+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join its legal team. This role requires expertise in reviewing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with various legal agreements while keeping up with evolving regulations, particularly in technology, consumer protection, and data privacy laws.

Job Responsibilities

• Reviewing legal agreements such as MSA, DPA, NDA, Vendor Agreements, Supplier Agreements, SAAS Agreements, and Service Provider Agreements.
• Negotiating agreements with business partners to secure the best interests of the organization.
• Ensuring that company standards and policies are incorporated into legal documents for risk mitigation.
• Staying updated on legislative changes affecting the company, especially in technology laws, consumer protection, and data privacy.
• Providing business advisory in line with applicable legal frameworks.

Candidate Requirements

• LL.B degree from a premier college/university.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably as an in-house counsel or in a law firm handling similar responsibilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with experience in collaborating with internal teams and external business partners.
• Keen attention to detail and a drive to bring systematic improvements to legal processes.
• Self-driven, with the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.
