Role Description
This full-time, on-site Compliance Manager role is based out of Moradabad. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring adherence to local and international trade regulations, creating and implementing compliance policies, and assessing operational risks. The role requires conducting audits, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with labor, environmental, and supplier standards. Regular communication with stakeholders, training employees on compliance policies, and collaborating with external regulatory authorities will also be part of the daily responsibilities.
Qualifications
Familiarity with trade regulations and experience in home décor, manufacturing, or export industries is highly desirable
Strong understanding of compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management in a global trade context
Experience with supplier audits, policy formulation, and adherence to labor and environmental standards
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide training on compliance policies
Proficiency in maintaining and analyzing compliance records and documentation
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certification in compliance or regulatory affairs is a plus
