Role description
We’re Hiring: In-House Advocate (Real Estate) – Bangalore
Fortune One, a fast-growing real estate company specializing in farm plots and plotted developments like Esha Vana (Hesaraghatta) and Vistaa (Chikkaballapur), is looking for a dedicated In-House Advocate to manage legal matters, ensure compliance, and support our business operations.
Location: Cunningham Road, Bangalore
Experience: 5 – 8 years (Real Estate / Property Law)
CTC: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, vet, and review agreements, sale deeds, MOUs, NDAs, and other legal documents.
- Conduct title due diligence for lands and plotted developments.
- Ensure compliance with RERA, Karnataka land laws, stamp duty, and registration.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitration, and with regulatory bodies.
- Provide legal advisory on transactions, contracts, and disputes.
- Coordinate with external lawyers, government authorities, and registration offices.
Requirements:
- LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university, enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- 5–8 years’ experience in real estate/property law, including land acquisition and plotted development transactions.
- Strong knowledge of RERA, Transfer of Property Act, Contract Law, Karnataka Land Laws.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments independently with attention to detail.
