Delhi State Legal Services Authority erstwhile Delhi Legal Aid & Advice Board has been constituted by an Act of Parliament passed under “The Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987” as amended by Legal Services Authorities (Amendment) Act, 2002, to provide free and competent legal service to the weaker sections of the society to ensure that opportunities for securing justice are not denied to any citizen by reason of economic or other disabilities, and to organize Lok Adalats to secure that the operation of the legal system promotes justice on a basis of equal opportunity.
About the Job Opportunity
The Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) invites online applications in the prescribed format from eligible Advocates for empanelment as Pro-Bono Legal Services Advocates. This empanelment is for the purpose of providing legal services on a Pro Bono basis.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- For cases in JMFC, CJM, ACJM, Civil Judge, ARC, ACJ, SCJ, Guardianship matters, District Consumer Forum, Revenue cases, Senior Citizen cases, etc.:
- Advocate shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience at Bar.
- For cases in ASJ Courts (NDPS, POCSO, CBI, Special Courts), ADJ/Civil Courts
- (ADJS, LAC, MACT, Labour Courts, etc.), and Family Courts: Advocate shall have a minimum of 7 years of experience at Bar.
Application Process:
- Application must be submitted online in the prescribed format. The application form is available on the DSLSA website: www.dslsa.org.
- Hard copy application will not be accepted.
- Applicant must provide a valid contact number and email address for official communication.
- All required information in the application form must be completed accurately.
- The application period is from May 16, 2025 to May 30, 2025 until 5:00 PM.
