Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented legal research and content specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in researching complex laws and reviewing and writing concise responses to various questions on different sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on a wide range of topics by referring to statutes, regulations, case law, and legal doctrines.
- Draft clear, concise, and accurate answers to law-related questions, ensuring content is accessible and understandable for a non-legal audience.
- Review and analyze legal content, including research summaries and responses, for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to formatting and style guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to writers and analysts to help them improve the quality and structure of their work.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay up to date with legal developments, emerging trends, and changes in legislation to provide relevant and timely information.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Participate in content planning and strategy sessions to align with organizational goals and audience needs.
Qualifications, experience, and educational requirements:
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in legal research, writing, or a similar role.
Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
Excellent written communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to write in a clear, concise, and structured manner.
Familiarity with legal research platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
