Role description

CHD London is inviting applications from SQE-qualified and part-qualified legal professionals to join our academic team as Part-Time Faculty for our Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) programmes. This role is well-suited for practising solicitors, SQE-cleared candidates, and legal professionals who are passionate about teaching and mentoring future solicitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver online and/or in-person lectures for SQE1 and/or SQE2
  • Teach core SQE subjects including FLK, Legal Skills, Ethics, and Practice Areas
  • Support students with exam preparation, practical applications, and assessments
  • Assist in mock exams, academic evaluations, and curriculum enhancement
  • Provide academic guidance and mentoring to SQE aspirants

Eligibility & Requirements

  • SQE Qualified (SQE1 & SQE2) OR Part-Qualified (SQE1 cleared)
  • Sound understanding of English law and SRA exam framework
  • Experience in legal practice, training, or teaching preferred
  • Strong communication and student engagement skills
  • Prior online teaching or coaching experience is an advantage
