About the Job Opportunity
We are seeking skilled attorneys (Trainee Associate/ Associate) to join our firm in New Delhi. This position is open for candidates with a minimum of 6 months upto 2 years of law practice experience. Candidates with intellectual property law practice experience with an IP firm or chamber or in-house IP team will be most preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Someone who is keen, self-motivated, adaptable and accountable.
· Someone who wants to be a part of a team of driven and ambitious attorneys.
· Someone who is as much at ease talking about infringement of IP as they are with chatting about their favourite food or travel destination!
· Advisory to clients in relation to IP, specifically trademark law.
· Develop and implement strategies for the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
· Drafting and conducting trademark opposition and revocation proceedings;
· Drafting legal notices, replies, and legal submissions;
· Drafting / reviewing IP agreements and contracts;
· Advise clients on IP portfolio management
· Knowledge of trademark renewal, rectification, assignment
· Trademark objections and hearings
Eligibility & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in law or Master’s degree in law
· Registered with Bar Council of any State in India.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team.
· Leadership and team management abilities.
· Strong knowledge of law and legal principles.
