About the Opportunity
This role is part of the Group Commercial Legal team, focusing on procurement contracts and commercial legal advisory. It is ideal for candidates with experience in contract management, risk assessment, and corporate legal operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and validating procurement contracts (NDAs, SOWs, order forms, etc.)
- Managing legal requests and coordinating with internal teams
- Providing legal support and clarifying contractual queries
- Assisting in contract management and legal operations
- Engaging with external counsel and managing legal costs
- Ensuring compliance with laws, internal policies, and risk frameworks
- Maintaining legal templates, documentation, and playbooks
- Supporting global legal and regulatory initiatives
Additional Responsibilities
- Promoting ethical and legal compliance standards
- Collaborating with legal, risk, compliance, and business teams
- Contributing to process improvements and efficiency
- Ensuring adherence to internal code of conduct and regulations
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts (tech and non-tech procurement)
- Experience in contract review using templates/playbooks
- Strong drafting, analytical, and risk assessment skills
- Commercially pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
