Role Description
Intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
General Responsibilities (All Interns)
- Attending virtual orientation and review sessions
- Completing assigned learning modules and weekly tasks
- Conducting basic research and preparing short summaries
- Maintaining professional communication via email and online platforms
- Submitting weekly reflections or progress updates
Research & Knowledge-Based Tasks
- Collecting information from credible sources related to sustainability, climate change,
- biodiversity, governance, policies
- Preparing short research notes, briefs, or presentations
- Assisting in documentation and report preparation (non-technical)
Content & Communication Tasks
- Creating awareness content such as short articles, posts, posters, or presentations
- Supporting eco-communication initiatives and campaigns
- Assisting in preparing educational or outreach materials
Project & Program Support
- Assisting in planning and coordination of ongoing Ecoensa projects (desk-based)
- Supporting impact documentation and monitoring activities
- Helping organise data, schedules, and project records
Law & Governance (Foundational Level)
- Conduct basic legal and policy research related to:
Environmental laws (introductory level)
Corporate governance and ethics
CSR and sustainability frameworks
- Read, summarise, and organise legal and governance documents
- Assist in preparing non-technical notes, briefs, and awareness materials
- Support documentation for internal policies and compliance awareness
- Assist with ESG and governance research (foundational understanding)
- Maintain research records and learning logs
- Participate in mentorship and review sessions
Learning & Reflection
- Participating in feedback and mentorship sessions
- Demonstrating initiative, responsibility, and ethical conduct
Qualifications
Understanding of sustainability, biodiversity, climate action principles, environmental law and policies
Strong research and analytical skills
Proficiency in report writing and data presentation
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams
Good communication and organisational skills
Passion for environmental conservation and community engagement
