ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Adv. Ishita Uppal is a lawyer currently working as a law researcher to a judge in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, a social activist who served as the brand ambassador of Haryana for the ‘Save the Girl Child’ campaign from 2009 to 2015, and the recipient of the Asian Girl Human Rights Award (2014 in Taipei, Taiwan) and the Pramerica Spirit of Community Award (2012, in New Delhi) for her endeavours towards social change.
