About the Speaker
Ms. Akansha Singh is a distinguished legal scholar, educator, and researcher, with a deep commitment to advancing legal education and scholarship. She holds an LL.M. from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, one of India’s most prestigious law institutions, and a B.A. LL.B. (H) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. With a solid academic foundation, she has developed expertise in Interpretation of Statutes, Property Law, and Law of Contracts, contributing significantly to legal research and pedagogy. Her academic excellence has been recognized through various accolades, including a scholarship award for being the Best Law Graduate at the college level.
With over six years of teaching experience, Ms. Singh has held key academic positions as an Assistant Professor at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Lloyd Law College, and Presidency University, Bangalore, among others. Currently, she serves as a Faculty and Mentor at LiveLaw Academy, where she plays a pivotal role in mentoring aspiring legal professionals. Beyond her classroom contributions, she has been actively involved in judging national and international moot court and client counseling competitions, guiding students in their advocacy skills. She has also been invited as a guest lecturer and panelist at leading law institutions and conferences, sharing her insights on contemporary legal challenges.
Ms. Singh’s research spans a wide array of legal disciplines, including competition law, data privacy, arbitration, and constitutional law. She has authored numerous research papers published in renowned national and international journals and has presented her work at prestigious conferences and symposiums.
