Ahead of this month’s assembly elections, the Rajasthan Police conducted a routine check on Saturday and questioned YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav.

According to a police official, Yadav’s vehicle was pulled over in Kota as part of a regular patrol. He added that they got in touch with the Noida police after they discovered that Yadav was the subject of a case there for allegedly utilizing snake venom during unlawful rave events.

Five persons were detained by the Noida Police on Friday for allegedly using snake venom at rave events. Elvish Yadav’s name surfaced when the arrested people were being questioned by the police. The defendant revealed that they had previously supplied snakes to events that the Big Boss OTT winner held.

Following a complaint by Gaurav Gupta of PFA, run by BJP parliamentarian Maneka Gandhi, against six people, including Yadav, for partying at the banquet hall where snake venom was made available, a case was filed under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and for criminal conspiracy, according to police.

Though they were still conducting their investigation, the Noida Police stated that Yadav was not yet wanted in the case. The Kota police officer stated that the YouTuber was freed when it was established that he was not wanted in any case.
