About the Event

‘Bol’ is an initiative to provide a platform for debating and vocalizing thoughts and questions of our youth about policies and society. The whole theme of this Annual Debate Competition is “Bol ke Lab Azaad hai Tere”.

Title for BOL 24 is, “Bhartiya Nyay Sahita: Step towards Amrit Kaal or Police State” As recently, amendments to our country’s criminal laws have sparked widespread confusion regarding their implementation and potential impact on the nation. This has led to debates on whether these reforms are progressive steps towards a better future or if they might worsen the situation in India.

Team of 2 participants are to be registered in the competition as one in favor and one against the motion. They both will get 5 mins each to put up their points and then 1 min for responding to the questions of judges or guests.

BOL 24 is an offline competition and thus requires physical presence of participants on the day of the competition.

Eligibility

All Students pursuing there UG or PG in Legal studies or related fields as well as professionals are eligible to participate in the competition. (Registration Slots are Limited)

Prizes

There are prizes for 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd position. Also, for the best Speaker in both the languages respectively.
Participation Certificates will be given to everyone who take part on the day of competition.
