Dr. D. Y. Patil Law College, Pimpri, Pune invites registrations for VIDHI-संग्राम 2026, the 1st State Level Law Festival, scheduled to be held on 24th–25th March 2026 in offline mode at the college campus in Pune, Maharashtra.
The festival is designed as a dynamic academic platform to encourage students to showcase their advocacy, research, drafting, analytical reasoning, and public speaking skills through a variety of intellectually stimulating competitions.

List of Competitions
1. Elocution Competition
Participants will present speeches on contemporary socio-legal topics to demonstrate public speaking and analytical abilities.
2. Mediation Competition
Teams consisting of a Mediator and a Client-Counsel pair will participate in simulated dispute resolution sessions designed to test negotiation and mediation skills.
3. Essay Writing Competition
Participants will submit analytical essays on topics related to democracy, artificial intelligence, and international law.
4. Debate Competition
The debate will be conducted in Oxford-style format, allowing participants to argue both for and against a contemporary policy motion.
5. Legislative Drafting Competition
Participants will draft a legislative framework titled:
“The Digital Payment User (Protection) Act, 2026”
The draft will focus on consumer protection, digital fraud prevention, and regulatory accountability.
6. Quiz Competition
A dynamic quiz covering law, current affairs, and general knowledge to test participants’ awareness and analytical thinking.

- Participants from both Law and Non-Law backgrounds
