1. About NUSRL, Ranchi:

National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi has been established to further the cause of legal education in its manifold spheres of knowledge, development, and dissemination; coupled with the capacity building of state and non-state institutions; specializing in relevant legal technological interrelationship and above all strengthening the legal system at all levels. Student-centred legal education with global perspectives; preparing students as future legal professionals in law practice, academic and public policy are going to be the mainstay of this University. It is well known that for the purpose of social, economic, and political betterment of a nation, the legal system plays a cardinal role, and as such better legal education would be the core principle of the University. 

2. About DPIIT-IPR Chair, CSRIPR:

The Center for Study and Research in Intellectual Property Rights (CSRIPR) was established with the noble vision of creating a forum which inculcates a culture of effective research in the field of IPR. The aim of the center is to contribute to legal scholarship in the Intellectual Property Law world as India finds itself in the process of more rapid reform than ever before. More in meticulous, the CSRIPR wishes to gain a better insight and glimpse into new and evolving areas of Intellectual property law (such as the protection of software, semi-conductor products and biotechnological inventions, standardisation and technology transfers) and the general problems of patents, trade marks, designs and copyright.

The Centre is striving hard to reach to the society through various programmes such as seminars, workshops, awareness programmes. It is also focusing on conducting various competitions among the student community from various fields such as law, science, engineering and management to create a common platform and extending its academic and technical support to the IP holders in State of Jharkhand by providing consultation and awareness to the Small and Medium Scale entrepreneurs and tribal population who are repositories of vast indigenous knowledge.

  • Word Limit- 300-500 words
  • Keywords- 5-7
  • Font Style: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: Title: 14, Bold; Abstract body: 12, italicized
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Author Details (Name, Designation, Institution, Email, Contact No.) below the title on the first page

5. Guidelines for Paper Submission:

  • Word Limit- 5000-8000 words (Excluding footnotes)
  • Footnotes: Bluebook 20th Edition (Times New Roman, 10, Single Spacing)
  • Formatting: Times New Roman, 12, 1.5 line spacing, justified text; A4 size, 1-inch margins on all sides
  • No endnotes or in-text citations- only footnotes shall be permitted.

6. Co-authorship: 

Upto two authors

7. Relevant Dates: 

  • Last Date for submission of full paper with abstract: 15th January, 2026
  • Confimation of Selection: February 2026
  • Conference Month: February 2026
