ABOUT THE RESOURCE PERSON
Ms. Neha Purohit is an accomplished legal professional with an impressive educational background and a strong commitment to academia. She completed her undergraduate studies, earning a BA LLB (hons) degree from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar in the year 2010. Following her passion for Human Rights, she pursued an LLM in Human Rights Branch from Government Law College, Bikaner in 2013.
In addition to her current position at the School of Law, Christ (Deemed to be University) in Delhi NCR, Ms. Neha Purohit has also held previous academic positions. She worked as an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Alliance University Bengaluru from June 30, 2021, to June 22, 2022. Prior to that, she served as a lecturer (guest faculty) at the School of Law, Maharaja Ganga Singh University Bikaner from October 2018 to March 2020, where she taught various courses such as BA LLB (hons), LLB (3 years), and LLM.
Ms. Neha Purohit’s academic journey showcases her dedication to scholarly pursuits. She cleared the UGC NET examination in December 2016, demonstrating her expertise and qualification in her chosen field. Currently, she is a PhD scholar, actively engaged in research since October 2020, further emphasizing her commitment to expanding the knowledge base in her areas of interest. Presently, Ms. Neha Purohit holds the position of Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Christ (Deemed to be University) in Delhi NCR, where she has been serving since July 13, 2022. Her academic contributions extend beyond the classroom, as she has published approximately 10 research papers. Her areas of interest include Constitutional Law, Human Rights, and Labor Laws, showcasing her expertise and dedication to these fields.
