Adsum Legal Services is looking for a dedicated and result-oriented Advocate to join its litigation and advisory team in Delhi. The role provides an opportunity to work on high-stakes matters before leading courts and tribunals in India.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the position must fulfill the following criteria:

• LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized Indian University
• Mandatory enrollment with the Bar Council of Delhi or any State Bar Council with transfer application in process
• 2 to 10 years of active litigation practice
• Strong command over:
  • Code of Civil Procedure (CPC)
  • Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC)
  • Indian Evidence Act
  • Constitutional Law
• Proficiency in English (written and oral)
• Proficiency in Hindi is desirable for District Court proceedings
• Excellent analytical and advocacy skills
• Ability to work under tight court deadlines

Litigation & Court Appearances

• Representing clients before:
  • Supreme Court of India
  • Delhi High Court
  • District Courts
  • NCLT
  • NCDRC
  • CAT and other tribunals

Drafting & Pleading

• Drafting and vetting:
  • Writ Petitions
  • Civil Suits
  • Criminal Complaints
  • Written Statements
  • Appeals
  • Revisions
  • Interlocutory Applications

Legal Research

• Conducting legal research using SCC Online, Manupatra, statutes, and case laws
• Providing well-reasoned legal opinions

Advisory Work

• Advising clients on complex legal and compliance-related matters

Client Management

• Managing client communications
• Updating clients on case developments

Trial Preparation

• Briefing Senior Advocates
• Managing evidence recording and cross-examinations
