Role Overview

The organization is hiring a Legal Trainee / Executive with 6 months to 1 year of experience in labour law research and business licensing matters.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting statutory and regulatory research
• Tracking compliance requirements across different states
• Supporting licensing assignments
• Assisting in legal documentation and advisory work

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research on:
  • Central and State labour laws
  • Legal Metrology laws
  • Packaged commodities regulations relating to labelling and declarations
• Attend:
  • Labour law matters
  • Hearings
  • Inspections
  • Liaison work with authorities
• Research:
  • Sector-wise business licensing requirements
  • State-wise registrations and approvals
• Prepare:
  • Compliance checklists
  • Legal notes
  • SOPs
  • Internal advisory documents
• Assist in:
  • Contract review and management
  • Legal due diligence
  • Regulatory audits
• Track:
  • Government notifications
  • Amendments
  • Judicial developments
• Maintain:
  • Legal trackers
  • Knowledge databases
  • Regulatory repositories
• Collaborate with:
  • Legal teams
  • Compliance teams
  • Client servicing departments

Eligibility & Requirements

Educational Qualification

• LL.B. from a recognized university

Experience

• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in:
  • Legal firms
  • Compliance firms
  • Labour law consultancy

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of:
  • Indian labour laws
  • Licensing frameworks
  • Regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with:
