This role offers exposure to cross-border filings, multi-jurisdictional coordination, and global IP portfolio management, making it ideal for candidates interested in trademark law and international practice.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end foreign trademark filings
- Handling applications under the Paris Convention and Madrid Protocol
- Coordinating with international associates for multi-jurisdictional matters
- Drafting office action responses and advising on filing strategies
- Preparing and reviewing documentation such as assignments, affidavits, POAs, and consent letters
- Conducting clearance searches and providing risk assessments
- Managing docketing, deadlines, and client communication
Eligibility Criteria
- 2–4 years of experience in trademark prosecution (foreign filings preferred)
- Strong knowledge of international trademark frameworks
- Experience in handling multi-jurisdictional filings and coordination
- Familiarity with neighbouring jurisdictions (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka) is an added advantage
- Strong drafting, organisational, and communication skills
