Role Overview

Associate – Liquidation (IBC, 2016) – Mumbai.

The role involves end-to-end support in managing liquidation processes, compliance, and stakeholder coordination under IBC, 2016.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Liquidator in managing liquidation assignments under IBC, 2016.
  • Coordinate preparation of Preliminary Reports, Asset Memoranda, SCC notices, and compliance filings with NCLT, IBBI, and ROC.
  • Support in asset verification, valuation, custody, and sale through e-auction platforms.
  • Draft and review legal applications, replies, and reports for NCLT/NCLAT.
  • Liaise with secured creditors, workmen, employees, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain statutory registers, assist in claims verification and distribution of proceeds.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Liquidation Regulations, IBBI circulars, and statutory timelines.
  • Conduct research and provide analytical support on case laws, regulations, and insolvency practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

LL.B. / Company Secretary / Insolvency domain qualification.

1–3 years’ experience in Liquidation under IBC, 2016.

Strong knowledge of IBC, 2016, Liquidation Regulations, and NCLT/NCLAT procedures.

Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.

Proficient in MS Office; familiar with e-filing and IBBI platforms.

Ability to work under strict deadlines with high attention to detail.
