In China, a puzzling pneumonia has occurred and has triggered alarms over the health authorities and the population. With children predominantly affected, the hospitals in the northern regions are witnessing a surge in admissions. Despite exhaustive efforts, the rot cause of the outbreaks still remains evasive. Although the covid19 has been ruled out in their past years. Investigations is sill undergone to catch potential culprit like influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)
The World Health Organization (WTO) has been in contact with Chinese health authorities and is monitoring the situation closely so that it doesn’t end up like covid19. The WTO has also urged to provide more information about the outbreaks and number of cases, severity of illness and age distribution of those who were affected by it.
The Chinese government is taking steps to prevent the spread of respiratory illness, such as hand washing and social distancing. It is too early for the outbreak to develop into a pandemic. However, the WTO has warned that the risk of a pandemic is high due to the factors such as climate change, urbanization and increase in travel.

In the absence of a definitive cause, health officials are emphasizing prevent measures to curb the spreads of the illness, these measures includes
