Israel and India stand on the grounds that all the terrorist organizations should be banned and are taking measure to do the same.
According to both the countries terrorist organizations destroy the peace and calm of the people worldwide as terrorism is not country specific, rather is anti-humanitarian.
Israeli government has declared Pakistan based terrorist group Lashkar-e Taiba as an illegal terrorist organization and banned it since, it had carried out the attacks on Mumbai in 2008. Without India’s intervention.
Israel released a statement saying that all regulations are made and the necessary procedures completed to introduce Lashkar-e-Taiba in the Israel list of illegal terrorist organization.
Israel made declaration in significance with the 15th year of commemoration of Mumbai attacks.
Thus, stating Lashkar-e-Taiba to be a deadly and dishonorable answerable for violence and killing of hundreds of Indian origin and foreign nationals during Mumbai terror attacks. While offering sympathy to the victims and the families who lost their members of all the aggression and destruction, Israel added that the horrors of November 26, 2008 still remain fresh and echo in minds of peace seeking nations and societies.
Israel also wants India to put a similar ban on the terrorist organization Hamas, which on October 7th, 2023 wreaked havoc in Israel and thus started a series of violent attacks between the two, which is still going on.
Israel takes this step because in the recent past it has been a victim to immense violence and aggression by Hamas militants. Hamas initiated a series of attacks on Israel causing a lot of brutalities and bloodshed of civilians most of them being children and women, many of them were taken hostages and are still not released. After these attacks Israel has opted for a strategy of not just counter attacking but also emphasizing on the need to ban such terrorist organizations globally.
This move puts India and Israel a step closer in working together against terrorism banning all terrorist organization and specifically cross-border terrorism.
