
The judicial commission formed by the Allahabad High Court to look into the conflict between lawyers and police that passed in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur quarter on August 29 will meet on September 16. The statement claims that Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta has been chosen to lead the commission established to look into complaints made by the bar regarding the incident that took place in Hapur. As Hapur Bar Association officers and members before on August 29 offered a kick regarding an contended “fabricated ” case filed against a woman counsel and her father, pressures between the police and attorneys grew. As a result, the police used lathi-charges against the attorneys. “A Committee with its Chairman as Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta has been constituted to look into the grievances raised at the Bar in respect of the incident that passed in District Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. The speaker of the Committee has been pleased to direct that the commission shall hold its meeting in the Committee Room of the Allahabad High Court at 11.00 A.M. on 16.09.2023,” the sanctioned statement said. The statement further said that people can also share in the proceedings nearly, for which the VC link will be uploaded shortly. “By this notice, the persons displeased in the incident members of the Public concerned are hereby informed that they may place their grievance applicable material in the matter, before the Committee for its consideration. Those interested in sharing the proceedings in the virtual mode may do so, for which the VC link for joining the Committee proceedings shall be uploaded shortly.”
