About the Workshop
Legal Vidhiya presents a 3-day structured workshop on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) at the workplace, designed especially for law students, legal interns, HR professionals, and young legal practitioners. This workshop aims to equip participants with a deep understanding of the legal framework, implementation strategies, and practical challenges associated with the POSH Act, 2013.
Through expert-led sessions, case study discussions, and interactive learning, the workshop will foster awareness, legal literacy, and procedural clarity among participants to promote safe and inclusive workspaces.
3-Day POSH Training Workshop
Day 1: Employee Sensitization
Introduction to POSH Act and Its Importance
- Overview of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013
- Key provisions: Definition, workplace coverage, and employer responsibilities

- Roles and responsibilities of IC: Handling complaints, conducting inquiries, mediation, and reporting

Day 3: Best Practices and Case Studies

About the Speaker
Sakshi Kothari is a distinguished Advocate at the Madhya Pradesh High Court. With a strong academic foundation and extensive practical experience, she has made significant contributions to both legal practice and legal education. Her dual role as an advocate and educator allows her to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and its real-world application, making her an influential figure in the legal field.
She holds a BBA LLB degree from Amity University and an LLM in International Trade and Investment from Gujarat Maritime University. Her academic journey has equipped her with a deep understanding of legal principles, particularly in trade and investment law. Through her rigorous studies, she has developed a keen analytical approach, enabling her to navigate complex legal matters with precision.
Beyond academics, Sakshi has actively participated in numerous training programs and seminars, both as a volunteer and a speaker. Her hands-on experience in various legal forums has enriched her expertise, allowing her to contribute meaningfully to legal discourse. Her commitment to continuous learning and knowledge-sharing makes her a formidable advocate, dedicated to shaping the next generation of legal professionals.
