About the Opportunity
Verum Legal is inviting applications for a hands-on internship offering exposure to corporate law, litigation, and regulatory advisory. Interns will work on live matters and gain structured, practical experience across diverse legal domains.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assisting in corporate transactions, structuring, and documentation
- Conducting legal due diligence and compliance advisory
- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, term sheets, and board resolutions
- Supporting litigation research and drafting for District Courts and High Courts
- Conducting regulatory research (SEBI, Companies Act, and allied laws)
- Assisting in startup advisory, including IP-related work
- Supporting client coordination, registrations, and legal opinions
- Attending client meetings and firm events
- Organising and maintaining case files, trackers, and research notes
Eligibility Criteria
- Penultimate or final-year law students
- Strong interest in corporate law
- Good research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Ability to handle responsibilities with ownership and attention to detail
- Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad
