About the Organisation
ICAI is a statutory body established under an Act of Parliament in 1949 and is the world’s largest professional accounting body, playing a key role in regulating and developing the profession of Chartered Accountancy in India.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research on civil, corporate, commercial, and regulatory laws
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, notices, and legal documents
- Assisting in litigation management and coordinating with external counsels
- Supporting compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks
- Preparing legal opinions, briefs, and policy-related documents
- Assisting in disciplinary proceedings and governance matters
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university
- Strong knowledge of civil, corporate, commercial, and regulatory laws
- Proficiency in legal drafting, research, and documentation
- Familiarity with laws such as Companies Act, SEBI, RBI, FEMA, etc.
Salary
- Pay Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
- Approx. ₹15.51 lakhs per annum (including allowances)
