Role description

As a Compliance Process Intern at Peoplescient Consulting, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in regulatory compliance within the consulting industry. This role is perfect for someone who is proficient in MS-Office, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint, and is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.

Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

Assistance in preparing and reviewing compliance documentation (PF, ESIC, CLRA, Shops & Establishments, Gratuity, etc.).
Coordinate with client HR and finance teams to collect necessary data and documents for ongoing assignments.
Manage intake and triage of employee queries via helpdesk platforms; escalate complex cases to legal associates.
Support in preparing reports, proposals, and advisory notes for clients.
Follow up with government authorities on registration, renewal, or compliance submissions, as required.
Maintain and update project trackers, MIS reports, and documentation records for internal reference.
Ensure 100% adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and internal quality benchmarks.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of deliverables under the guidance of senior team members.
Maintain accurate records and trackers for client-specific compliance calendars.
Coordinate with client HR/Finance teams for data collection, clarifications, and issue resolution.
Stay updated with PF/EPFO circulars, notifications, and relevant legal developments.
Reviewing and analyzing claim files and related documents to identify any missing information or pendencies.
Managing and maintaining databases of various types of claims and other financial information.
