About the Role:
As a Legal Research Annotator, you will play a critical role in improving advanced AI systems by reviewing, annotating, and validating legal research and analysis content. This role requires a strong understanding of legal principles, statutory interpretation, and case law reasoning to ensure AI-generated outputs are accurate, well-reasoned, and contextually appropriate. You will work with complex legal materials across multiple jurisdictions while maintaining high standards of precision and neutrality.
Responsibilities:
- Review case law reasoning, legal arguments, and statutory applications.
- Evaluate logical structure, precedent relevance, and interpretation accuracy.
- Verify citations against original sources.
- Identify invalid assumptions, reasoning gaps, or misapplied precedents.
- Annotate reasoning chains for clarity and correctness.
- Ensure high-quality legal annotation aligned with jurisdictional standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Law degree or paralegal-level legal research experience.
- Strong grasp of statutory interpretation and case reasoning.
- Ability to analyze legal arguments objectively.
- Excellent citation auditing and document-review skills.
- strong at analyzing precedents and evaluating validity of legal reasoning.
