ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS

Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre in Hoshiarpur is an integral part of Panjab University, Chandigarh. PU, Chandigarh was established in 1882 at Lahore. It has 188 affiliated colleges spread over Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh & Regional Centres at Muktsar, Ludhiana and Hoshiarpur.

ABOUT LEGAL ODYSSEY

For the first time ever, Panjab University SSG Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur is organizing a group of Legal Competitions accompanied by a special Cultural Night, wrapped up in an integrated two-day event LEGAL ODYSSEY. It proposes to provide a platform for budding lawyers to hone their skills by competing in a galore of Law and Literary events.

Following events are being organized in Legal Odyssey

1.      SSG National Moot Court Competition, 2023

2.      National Moot Proposition Drafting Competition,2023

3.      INQUIZITIVE 2.0 (General Quiz)

ELIGIBILITY

• Only law students from recognized Law Colleges/Universities may register for Moot Court and Proposition Drafting.
• Students from any established curriculum can participate in Quiz Competition.
• School Students can also apply for Quiz Competition

a.      Registration fees: Rs 3000 per team (without accommodation)

b.      Prizes:

        i.     Winner- Rs 25000/- (with trophy and certificate)

         ii.     Runner up- Rs 15000/- (with trophy and certificate)

        iii.     Best Mooter- Rs 5000/- (with trophy and certificate)

        iv.     Best Researcher – Rs 5000/- (with trophy and certificate)

         v.     Best Memorial- Rs 5000/- (with trophy and certificate)
