ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

In an era marked by the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, the lines between human agency and machine autonomy are being continually redrawn. AI is no longer a distant frontier—it is embedded in the fabric of modern life, influencing decisions in courts, classrooms, clinics, marketplaces, and government oces. As AI-driven technologies grow in complexity and reach, they bring both transformative potential and significant legal, ethical, and societal challenges. To explore these emerging dynamics, Lloyd Law College is organizing an interdisciplinary conference, “Law and Society in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Challenges and Opportunities.” This conference brings together thought leaders and practitioners from across disciplines—law, technology, policy, ethics, economics, health, education, media, and civil society—to critically examine how AI is reshaping society and to envision frameworks that ensure its responsible and equitable governance. Through thematic panels, expert keynotes, and collaborative workshops, the conference will address pressing questions around algorithmic accountability, regulatory innovation, data governance, access to justice, environmental sustainability, and global cooperation.
