NLIU Bhopal to Host 1st SBA Law Conclave 2025 to Commemorate 75 Years of the Supreme Court of India, Bhopal, April 12–13, 2025
The Student Bar Association (SBA) of the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, is proud to present the inaugural edition of the NLIU-SBA Law Conclave 2025, a prestigious two-day event commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Supreme Court of India. Scheduled for April 12–13, 2025, the Conclave will serve as a vibrant platform for dialogue, reflection, and engagement among distinguished legal minds, academicians, practitioners, and students from across the country.
With the central theme of “Celebrating 75 Years of the Supreme Court of India,” the Conclave will delve into the Supreme Court’s historic evolution, its role in shaping Indian democracy, and its continuing influence on law and society. The event will feature six insightful panel discussions under five major sub-themes: Basic Structure, Judicial Activism, Religious Rights, Digital Rights, and Evolving Dimensions of the Right to Life.
The Conclave will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Justice Pankaj Mithal, Judge, Supreme Court of India, as the Chief Guest, and Hon’ble Justice Suresh Kumar Kait, Chief Justice, Madhya Pradesh High Court, as the Guest of Honour.
The panel sessions will be chaired and addressed by several eminent dignitaries, including:
