About the 1st DSA Legal International Article Writing Competition
Legal Vidhiya, in partnership with DSA Legal, is proud to announce the 1st DSA Legal International Article Writing Competition, a unique opportunity for law enthusiasts, academicians, and students to showcase their research and writing skills on an international platform.
Theme: Corporate Law and Disputes
Participants are invited to submit articles on one of the following themes:
- Commercial Litigation & Dispute
- Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code
- Arbitration & Dispute Resolution
- Merger & Acquisition Landscape
- Legal Tech & Litigation
- Any Other Topic Relating to Corporate Law
Eligibility
- Undergraduate Law Students from colleges recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
- Postgraduate Law Students from law schools across India.
- Law Students enrolled in law schools outside of India.

About the Speaker
Advocate Geetika Jain, with 12 years of experience practicing law in India. I hold a Gold Medal in B.A. LL.B. and a Silver Medal in LL.M., and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law to further enhance my expertise in the field.
Throughout my career, I have worked across diverse roles, including serving as a Project Lead for the Government of Andhra Pradesh and as a Senior Law Assistant for CIDCO, Government of Maharashtra. Additionally, I have had the privilege of working with some of the leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 law firms in the country, which has enriched my understanding of various legal domains.
My practice spans an array of legal areas, including writ petitions, contempt petitions, company arbitration, property suits, testamentary suits, criminal breach of trust, debt recovery, consumer forum matters, criminal law, banking law, and contract law. This broad spectrum of experience has enabled me to develop a comprehensive understanding of litigation and advisory services across multiple fields of law.
Apart from legal practice, I am also a visiting faculty at various law colleges in Mumbai, where I teach subjects such as contract law, labor law, the penal code, the evidence act, jurisprudence, legal drafting, pleading and conveyancing, and alternative dispute resolution. This role allows me to share my knowledge and mentor aspiring legal professionals.
I am also an accomplished writer, contributing articles to the Times of India for the past 15 years, along with publishing works in esteemed law journals. Beyond my legal and academic pursuits, I am proud to be a Guinness World Record holder (Group Record) through Puma India and an avid adventurer who represents India in expeditions and treks abroad.
