JusCosmos 2025 is more than a conventional law fest — it’s a dynamic platform where intellect meets innovation and legal potential is realized to its fullest. Designed to challenge, inspire and ignite the passion of budding legal minds, it fosters an environment where advocacy, strategy and critical thinking converge. From courtroom arguments to investigative brilliance and policy-driven solutions, every element of the fest is curated to cultivate holistic legal proficiency.

Core Competitions:

1.     Moot Court Competition

Participants will battle wits in simulated courtrooms, presenting arguments and challenging precedents. This competition tests advocacy, research, and legal reasoning skills. Only the sharpest minds will prevail in persuading the bench and outperforming opposing counsel.

Eligibility: Law students from recognized 3-year or 5-year programs across India. Multiple teams allowed per institution.

2.     Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) Simulation

Participants will decode mysteries and uncover truths in a time-sensitive scenario. Analytical abilities, observation, and deductive prowess are put to the test as they channel their inner detectives to crack the case.

Eligibility: Open to undergraduate/postgraduate students, researchers, and professionals in Criminology, Law, Forensic Science, and Psychology. Multiple teams allowed per institution.

3.     Model United Nations (MUN)

Delegates will explore the intricacies of diplomacy and leadership through lifelike UN simulations. Committees cater to beginners and experienced participants alike, focusing on pressing international issues.

Eligibility: Open to students from 9th to 12th grade, recent school graduates, and undergraduate program enrolees.

4.     Judgment Writing Competition

This competition challenges participants to analyze complex legal issues and craft balanced judgments that uphold fairness, clarity, and legal acumen.

Eligibility: Open to law students, researchers, and professionals.

5.     Policy-Making Competition

Participants will propose innovative policies that address systemic challenges, rethinking and redesigning systems for a progressive legal framework.

Eligibility: Open to students from Law, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, Business, and other relevant fields.
