About the Speaker
Adv. Akshay Goel is a Post Graduate in Law and a distinguished legal professional dealing in litigation and corporate matters on a pan-India basis. With extensive experience across diverse forums and industries, he has built a strong reputation for strategic advocacy, arbitration expertise, and corporate advisory. His professional journey reflects consistent excellence in dispute resolution, governance, and institutional engagement.
He is empaneled as an Advocate for PNB, FCI, and IIFCL, and is also listed in the Independent Director’s Databank as an Independent Director. He has been empaneled as an Arbitrator at the ICSI International ADR Centre, Noida, and has been selected by Cross Border Advisory Solutions as their exclusive International Arbitration Law Representative in India. In addition, he serves as an Additional Director at Strarch Engineering India Private Limited and mentors the NGO Youth Against Injustice Foundation.
Recognized for his contributions to arbitration, he was awarded International Arbitrator of the Year (India), 2021 by APAC Insider Magazine and has recently been acknowledged as one of the Top 10 Most Influential Lawyers in India, 2025 by Lawyers Today Magazine. He is an active member of leading young arbitration networks including DIAC-40 (Dubai International Arbitration Centre), YSIAC (Singapore International Arbitration Centre), MIAC (Mumbai International Arbitration Centre), Young ICCA, and Young ITA.
Alongside his professional practice, he actively contributes to legal education. He has acted as a Guest Lecturer at Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur, and has delivered lectures at institutions such as Woxsen University, IILM University, IPEM University, and ICSI. He is also a co-author of the book Lectures on the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, reflecting his academic engagement and commitment to strengthening legal scholarship and professional development.
