About the Speaker
Ms. Bhanupriya is an accomplished legal academic, researcher, Certified POSH Trainer, and Ph.D. scholar specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Law, Data Privacy, Digital Rights, and Technology Governance. A University Rank Holder in both her integrated law programme and at Maharishi Dayanand University, she has built a distinguished academic profile through extensive research, international collaborations, and scholarly contributions. Her work focuses on addressing emerging legal challenges in technology while promoting ethical and progressive legal frameworks.
She has presented 18+ research papers at prestigious national and international conferences and has authored several research papers and book chapters on AI governance, privacy, constitutional law, and technology regulation. Her academic excellence has been recognized with the Best Paper Presentation Award at an international conference. With more than four years of experience as an Assistant Professor of Law, she has successfully combined academic excellence with institutional leadership while mentoring aspiring legal professionals.
As an Assistant Researcher with Matri-Sudha and Cyber Chakravyuh Foundation, Ms. Bhanupriya actively contributes to policy research, cyber law awareness, and legal capacity-building initiatives in collaboration with academicians, law enforcement agencies, and cybersecurity experts. Through her teaching, research, and public engagements, she continues to champion ethical AI, digital justice, and progressive legal reforms, making her a promising voice in the evolving landscape of technology law and policy.
