About the Workshop
Legal Vidhiya proudly presents a comprehensive 3-day online workshop on “Liquidation under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016”, designed for law students, legal interns, advocates, researchers, and professionals seeking to understand the practical and procedural aspects of insolvency and liquidation law.
The workshop will provide an in-depth understanding of the legal framework governing liquidation under the IBC, 2016, including the role and responsibilities of the liquidator, management of assets and claims, stakeholder participation, realisation and distribution of assets, and the process of dissolution. Through expert-led sessions, practical insights, and structured discussions, participants will gain a clear understanding of the key stages and processes involved in liquidation proceedings.
The workshop will be conducted by Advocate Archisha Singh and will cover the subject over three focused sessions. Participants will explore the foundations of liquidation and the role of the liquidator, assets, claims and stakeholder participation, and finally realisation, distribution and dissolution.

About the Speaker
Ms. Archisha Singh is a practising Advocate with extensive experience in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Corporate Law, and Commercial Litigation. Her practice under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 includes corporate insolvency resolution and liquidation proceedings, with expertise in legal research, drafting, strategy, and appearances before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), and other judicial forums.
Her professional experience extends to complex criminal and regulatory matters, particularly proceedings involving the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and agencies such as the ED, CBI, NCB, and NIA. She has also worked on significant matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India involving the UAPA, ED, CBI, Indian Railways, and Delhi Administration.
With a multidisciplinary litigation practice covering Company Law, Taxation, Contract Law, Constitutional and Service Matters, Ms. Singh brings a comprehensive perspective to complex legal disputes. Her experience in handling competing claims, statutory authorities, enforcement proceedings, and corporate assets and liabilities makes her particularly well-equipped to provide practical and insightful guidance on liquidation under the IBC, 2016.
