About the Workshop
Legal Vidhiya proudly presents a focused 3-day workshop designed for law students, legal interns, and professionals to understand the significant procedural reforms introduced under the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS).
This workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the transition from the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (CrPC) to BNSS, examine key procedural shifts, and critically evaluate the challenges in implementation. About the Speaker
Harshit Singh Jadoun is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, and also mentors judiciary aspirants through multiple reputed coaching platforms, including Law Sikho. With a deep-rooted passion for legal education, he focuses on simplifying complex legal concepts and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world legal practice. His primary areas of academic interest include Criminal Law and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), which he approaches with both doctrinal depth and practical understanding.
He earned his B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, followed by an LL.M. in Criminal Law from Maharaj Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University, and has qualified the UGC-NET in 2023. His academic journey is complemented by extensive research, with publications in key legal areas such as geographical indications, copyright, patent law, and gender justice. Harshit’s writing reflects a commitment to exploring legal reforms and contemporary issues in law, contributing to both scholarly discourse and policy debates.
Professionally, he has honed his expertise through internships at prestigious institutions such as Fidus Law Chambers, NLSIU Bangalore, Banana IP, and the FICCI IPR Division. These experiences have allowed him to engage with pressing legal issues such as trademark enforcement, domain name disputes, and copyright compliance. A firm believer in mentorship and accessible education, he aspires to shape the next generation of legal professionals with a strong conceptual base, ethical grounding, and a practical understanding of the law.
