About the Organizer

Raja Lakhamgouda Law College, Belagavi is one of the oldest Law colleges in India and a premier institute of legal education in South India. It was established in 1939 by Karnatak Law Society, Belagavi, as part of its solemn resolve to impart quality legal education.

Since then, thousands of students have passed through the hallowed portals of this esteemed institution. In the glorious history of legal education, R. L. Law College has contributed the most competent legal luminaries both to the Bench and the Bar.

About the Competition

The M. K. Nambyar Memorial National Level Moot Court Competition is organized every year during the second week of March. The competition aims to provide a unique platform for the students to showcase their legal skills, critical thinking, and persuasive advocacy.

The competitions also give participants an opportunity to interact with fellow participants from different institutions and gain practical experience in the field of law and enhance their resume. The competition promises valuable learning experiences and the chance to win the prestigious Moot Court Competition.

Eligibility Criteria

Law Schools, Law Colleges, and Law Universities, recognized by the Bar Council of India, are eligible to participate in the competition. The participants should currently be pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree in Law i.e., Three-Year or Five-Year Law Course, and must have studied Constitutional Law subject in their course.
