ABOUT THE GUEST SPEAKER
Prashant Kumar is a Principal Associates with Dua Associates. He is also an Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India and specialises in commercial / civil litigation, insolvency laws and alternate dispute resolution including arbitration.
Prashant appears regularly before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, National Company Law Tribunals, Appellate Tribunal, District Courts and other fora. Prashant also advises client on various subjects.
Prashant has over 13 years’ experience as a legal professional and has dealt with commercial disputes and arbitration matters (both domestic and international), and also insolvency laws. He has handled cases arising from transactions relating to Oil & Gas; Infrastructure, Projects & Construction; Power / Energy; Telecom & IT; Banking & Finance; Joint Ventures and General Commercial matters. Prashant obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree with first class honours from the Gujarat National Law University in May 2010.
