About the Job
Role: Legal Apprentice
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and assist in the negotiation of contracts and legal documents.
- Manage consumer cases, including legal research, documentation, and follow-ups.
- Assist with regulatory compliance, including IRDAI & GIC returns.
- Coordinate with claims teams and advocates to ensure smooth case progress.
- Maintain and organize legal records, case files, and reports.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and legal documentation.
Requirements:
- Law graduate or final-year law student.
- Strong understanding of contract law, consumer protection laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data handling, formatting, and basic formulas).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience or internship in contract drafting, insurance, or consumer law.
- Knowledge of IRDAI regulations and GIC compliance requirements.
