This July 2023 reported a small decrease in the pass rate compare to previous , years. About 7,555 student who gave the California bar exam. In that 51.5% , passed. If we compare it with previous year , it is 0.9% less than last year. This is , announced by the State bar of California on Thursday. , California had the second largest number of aspirants behind New York. It is seen , that about Thirty Two states had increase in their July pass rate while pass rate , decreased in 11 states. This data is given by National Conference of bar Examiners.
It is said by the exam tutor that students have done a lot of hard work in their, exam as it was the time of COVID pandemic batch and this rate of student is really , unexpected. West Virginia had second largest increase. Michigan had largest decline in passing rate.
